RokPro in Action

RokPro Guard Impact Test

Forks take a beating from rocks, roost, road debris, and everyday impacts. RokPro guards are designed to put a protective barrier between those hits and your fork finish.

In this short impact test, you’ll see a RokPro guard take several direct strikes while installed on the fork. After the test, the guard is removed so you can see the protected area underneath.

The goal is simple: let the guard take the abuse—not your forks.

IMPORTANT: Install the Armor Skin while the RokPro guard is mounted on the motorcycle fork.
The guard must be in its installed shape while the vinyl is applied. Applying the Armor Skin with the guard off the fork will cause wrinkles once the guard is installed.

Before applying:
Clean the guard thoroughly to remove dirt, oil, and wax. Lightly mist glass cleaner onto the guard and the exposed adhesive side of the Armor Skin. This allows the vinyl to float slightly so you can slide and adjust it into the correct position.

Applying the Armor Skin:
Once positioned, start in the center and work outward toward the edges using firm, overlapping strokes. This pushes the glass cleaner and trapped air out from underneath the vinyl. There is no need to rush—take your time and make small adjustments as you go. Wipe away excess liquid as it reaches the edges.

Finishing:
Use a hair dryer or low heat to help the vinyl conform to the guard. Keep the heat moving and continue smoothing the surface and edges. Do not overheat the vinyl or guard.
